Hi! I’m Freya Garcia. I’m a graphic designer and art director with a love for brand identity and learning more about people and their passions. With experience across real estate, global design, and tech, I have a deep curiosity to learn all I can about the intersection of design with any company, culture, and people – and how I can help bring their passions to life.

My passion for design has fueled me to create my own small business during the height of Covid selling over 2,000 custom designed college shirts (I like to say I can likely name most college’s colors and mascot). My first professional brand identity for boutique student property, Sweetwater, at LV Collective, won five ADDY awards in 2023, including Judge’s Choice overall. Other than brand identity, I also love print and editorial design, packaging design, indoor and outdoor signage – you name it – I’ve even designed a 175-ft sign!

This summer, I was a Blue Studio Design Intern for IBM in Austin, Texas. I previously interned as a Designer for Graphis Inc., and LV Collective. I’ve found so much joy in being able to understand and immerse myself in so many unique industries and different backgrounds – learning what people love and what difference they want to make in the world. I plan to become an art director or designer post-grad, and hope to specialize in brand identity. I’m currently a Graphic Design intern for the Florida Gators Athletic Association!

When I’m not designing or doodling gators for UF Panhellenic, you can find me behind a cup of matcha, strolling through grocery stores’ beverage aisles, collecting vintage books, magazines, and matchbooks, unwinding at yoga or pilates, or watching the sunrise on the beach in my hometown, Jacksonville, Florida – GO JAGS!
